Welcome to Wiener KammersymphonIe

"Deriving pleasure from making music on highest level with the credo "innovation and tradition".

This is the "Wiener Kammersymphonie" s concept, a new chamber orchestra developed from the encounter of top musicians, who are engaged in various orchestras and chamber ensembles. This special cooperation combines the individually already stunning artistic experiences in one concerted output.
To obtain this special musical experience, which embraces a repertoire from strings ensemble to great chamber orchestra, the "Wienna Kammersymphonie" enjoys a broad musical spectrum from Viennese classic to the music of the  21 ^st century.

The "WKS" was founded im March 2006 on the occasion of the "Year of Mozart"and debuted immediately with oustanding successful concerts in Spain, wich were affiliated by the audience and the press as the best concerts of the season. After that,the ensemble realized numerous project dedicated to the contemporaries of Mozart.Always in search of new ways of expressions, in September 2008 the "WKS"created cross over-projects in the course of the "Umbria Music Festival" wich built a fusion of the viennese classic and the suggestion of the Hip-Hop dance.

Invitations to the Ankara Festival in April 2009 and many italian theatres,like the "Teatro N.Piccinni"in Bari, followed.Next projects envision a concert-cycle in Vienna and several recordings. In the summer 2011 the "WKS" will perform in Greece,Italy,Turky and China.In spring 2012 a debut in Brazil is planned.Since March 2011, Maestro Domenico Pierini  is Musical Director of the "Wiener Kammersymphonie".
